Electralis 2001 is a meeting-place for work and exchanges for electricity players. It takes place in the region of Wallonia, Belgium, at various localities. Over the course of 2001, it organizes a varied programme of international events. These are:

  • The Campus. An international working meeting during, which research and technological development projects from universities and laboratories from all over the world are presented. Innovative projects are demonstrated and universities go hand in hand with institutional operators and companies.

  • The Forum. From 6 to 8 November 2001, this world-wide geopolitical congress will bring together leading politicians, economists and scientists. Together, they will be looking at the steps to be taken and partnerships to be formed in order to ensure that the electricity of tomorrow is clean, profitable and accessible to all, and this in a century of information.

  • The City. From March to September 2001, an original and dynamic exhibition involved the young and old alike to embark on a fascinating voyage to the heart of electricity.

A set of other associated events: international seminars, scientific conferences, company visits, demonstrations of electrical mobility, cultural and other events are being held throughout Wallonia during Electralis 2001.
