Strategies to promote sustainability in higher education institutions: A case study of a federal institute of higher education in Brazil Available to Purchase

Issa Ibrahim Berchin is Researcher at the Research Centre on Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (GREENS). He has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), and is a master in Administration at UNISUL.

Vanessa dos Santos Grando is Federal Public Servant of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Santa Catarina (IFSC). Vanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Trade, and is a master’s student in Administration at the University of Southern Santa Catarina. The areas of activity include public management, public budget, government sustainability, bidding, government contracts and public assets.

Gabriela Almeida Marcon is Federal Attorney. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) as well as in Business Administration from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). She also holds postgraduate degree in Law from the Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI), and is a master in Administration at the University of Southern Santa Catarina.

Louise Corseuil is Junior Researcher at the research group on social innovations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), and is a master’s student in Administration at UNISUL.

José Baltazar Salgueirinho Osório de Andrade Guerra is Professor at the Master’s Program in Administration and in Environmental Sciences at the University of Southern Santa Catarina. He is Director of GREENS, Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG), the Department of Land Economy, the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
