Professor Walter Leal Filho holds the Chairs of Climate Change Management at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and Environment and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He directs the Research and Transfer Centre “Sustainability Development and Climate Change Management�. His main research interests are in the fields of sustainable development and climate change, also including aspects of climate change and health.

Laís Viera Trevisan is a PhD Candidate in Business Administration at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, in collaboration with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Her research field is innovation, technology and sustainability, and her PhD thesis focuses on sustainability in higher education.

Zujaja Wahaj, Sociology, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology at the University of Northampton (UK). Her research interests are at the nexus of gender, migration, health inequalities (particularly HIV/AIDS and Covid-19), climate change, violence and sustainability. Her regional interests include South Asia and the South Asian diaspora in the UK.

Denner Déda Araújo Nunes has a Master’s in Processes, Environment and Energy and is currently a PhD Candidate in Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Coimbra, Portugal. His research work is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology in Portugal. In addition to his entrepreneurial career, which includes several innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, he studies Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessments, applications and methodologies.

Claudio Ruy Portela de Vasconcelos holds a PhD in Industrial and System Engineering from UMINHO, Portugal, and has research experience at HAW Hamburg, Germany. As an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil, he focuses on sustainable and complex systems, including networks, management, assessment, and reporting. His research also covers Education for Sustainable Development and quantitative modelling.

Thais Aparecida Dibbern, PhD in Science and Technology Policy, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Embrapa Digital Agriculture and a Researcher in the Department of Science and Technology Policy at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Her research interests encompass Public Policy and Institutional Analysis, Social Studies in Science and Technology, Higher Education Studies, and Sustainability.

Valeria Ruiz Vargas is a Senior Lecturer on Academic Development at the University Teaching Academy, Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research is multidisciplinary and focused on organisational change, institutionalisation processes, governance and integration of sustainable development in higher education. She has conducted higher education policy reviews at institutional, national and international levels whilst also developing and implementing institutional policy at Manchester Metropolitan University and supporting policy development for education in Colombia. She has experience working on research projects and activities to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals and education for sustainable development in a range of contexts and settings.

Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga is a Professor of Sustainable Built Environment at RMIT University. Usha was co-lead of the UN’s One Planet Network’s Sustainable Buildings and Construction Programme (SBC). She is continuing this engagement through the Global Alliance for Building and Construction through the Circular Built Environment working group hosted by UNEP. Usha's interests are in grounded solutions for sustainability. She serves on the Boards of various not-for-profit organisations and has also served as a panel judge for state, national and international awards.

Rosley Anholon is an Associate Professor at the University of Campinas, Brazil. He has experience in Sustainable Management Systems, Education for Sustainable Development and Quantitative Methods applied to Business Management. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc, PhD in Engineering at the University of Campinas, and he published many papers in scientific journals (Web of Science H21, 1861 citations; Scopus H-24, 2339 citations). He supervised 7 PhD theses and 25 master's dissertations. Currently, he carries out research in partnership with other research groups in Brazil, Chile, Germany, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Aliaksandr Novikau is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the International University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He holds a PhD in Political Science from Northern Arizona University and an MS in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the same university. His primary research interests are energy security, environmental policy, and sustainable development.

Professor Ismaila Rimi Abubakar has over two decades of experience in teaching, research and professional consultancy. He holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, a Master of Science in Computing from Robert Gordon University, UK, and a Master's in City and Regional Planning from KFUPM. His research focuses on urban sustainability, climate change, and urban services. He is a fellow of the Population Reference Bureau, Washington DC, and many international organisations. He has authored over 100 papers in high-impact journals and books. He has been recognised as one of the top 2% of the world's scientists by Stanford University since 2021.

Maria Alzira Pimenta Dinis, Habilitation, PhD, MSc, is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Porto, Portugal, graduated in Metallurgical Engineering and Master Science in Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal; PhD in Earth Sciences and Habilitation in Ecology and Environmental Health at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Fernando Pessoa, Portugal; researcher at Fernando Pessoa Research, Innovation and Development Institute (FP-I3ID), Portugal and Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE), Portugal.
