Lynn Rosalina Gama Alves currently, CNPq Productivity Technological Development and Innovative Extension Scholarship – Level 1D, holds a degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education of Bahia (1985), Master’s (1998) and Doctorate (2004) in Education from the Federal University of Bahia. The Postdoctoral was in the area of Electronic Games and Learning at the University of Turin, Italy. She is a professor and researcher at the Institute of Humanities, Arts and Science–IHAC–UFBA, Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Teaching, Philosophy and History of Science and coordinator of the Research Network Virtual Communities–UFBA. The investigations carried out are related to the digital universe, highlighting digital games and their interfaces, especially with learning in different scenarios. In recent years, she has been carrying out research on the following topics: serial narratives, scientific dissemination and, more recently, issues and tensions related to the platformization of education, highlighting learning analytics. Coordinated research and development projects in digital games such as: Tríade (FINEP/FAPESB/UNEB), Búzios: echoes of freedom (FAPESB), Guardians of the forest (CNPq, FAPESB, Proforte), Brasil 2014: toward Hexa (SEC-Ba), Insitu (SEC-Ba), Industriali (SEC-Ba), Games studies (FAPESB), DOM (SEC-Ba), Janus (SEC-Ba) and Gamebook (CAPES/FAPESB) and Lider SIM (CAPES). And she has been organizing and coordinating for 14 years the Seminar on Electronic Games, Education and Communication-building new trails.
