THE WHITFORD COMMITTEE report on Copyright and designs law (Cmnd 6732) has been given preliminary consideration by the Library Association, through the medium of the Copyright Sub‐Committee of the General Purposes Committee. An interim statement, approved by Council, has been sent to the Secretary of State for Trade. It is to be hoped that Mr Dell received his copy on paper of the same shade of pink as that used to advise members of the General Purposes Committee.
