National Libraries Bill 1984

A Bill to consolidate the library and information services of the United Kingdom at present administered by the Boards of the British Library and of the National Libraries of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland; by the University Grants Committee; by local authorities; and by publicly owned or financed corporations. To arrange for the superintendence of the national library service by the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and to provide for financing. (January 1, 1984).
