Companies House holds the official records of all limited companies in England, Scotland and Wales. This information is already available to the public by telephone, postal enquiry or personal visit at the central or any one of six regional offices. Bulk users and “value‐added” service retailers can make special arrangements, usually receiving computer‐generated magnetic tape. Libraries are major customers and the Birmingham Branch Office is even sited in the Birmingham Business Library.
