HISTORICALLY, the philosophy adopted by Brockhouse Transmissions Ltd in gaining acceptable engineering reliability for its range of torque converter transmissions has been to carry out representative field duty cycles on diesel engine inertia test beds. Such test beds contribution to the overall development programme in a rapid and efficient manner, and at a low man‐hour cost.
