ANTIOXIDANTS FOR SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC AND LUBRICATING FLUIDS

BECAUSE SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC AND lubricating fluids used in modern aircraft oxidise at the high temperatures encountered in high‐speed flight, a serious need exists for superior antioxidant chemicals that will protect these liquids under such conditions and research in this field has recently been conducted by the Stanford Research Institute, Menlo Park, Cal., U.S.A.
