The new lubricants plant at BARTON

The opening ceremony for the new Shell Lubricants Plant at Barton was performed on September 25th, by Sir Frederick West, G.B.E., who was introduced by Mr. C. M. Vignoles, O.B.E., Managing Director of Shell‐Mex and B.P. Ltd. The large gathering of guests included the executive of the contracting companies whose designs and products had been incorporated in this very modern plant which has been completed at a cost of about £500,000.
