The results of the IFR August '98 survey of robot market trends are given in Table II. As you will see there are quite different performance levels around the world. Western Europe is developing quite positively, while the USA shows a downward trend. RIA believes the slowdown in the USA is temporary though (see their report on previous page).

Asia is going down,following the current overall negative trend in this part of the world.
