Global alliance allows three manufacturers to better serve customers around the world

W. Paul Cullen, Shinichi Koga and Piero Glacomini, Presidents of Applied Robotics, Nitta and Tecnomors, respectively, announce a new international global alliance.

The global alliance was solidified by both Nitta and Tecnomors making an equity investment in Applied Robotics. Kazuyoshi Andoh, General Manager of Nitta's RETS Div. and Flavio Giacmini, Managing Director of Tecnomor now serve on the Board of Directors of Applied Robotics.

Cullen states that "as a result of the increasing drive toward globalization in the manufacturing industry, we felt that in order to better serve our customers we needed to be able to follow them no matter where in the world they decided to go". The joining of these three companies, each an industry leader in automation tooling systems, will result in a unified worldwide sales distribution and technical support network.
