A new trade fair for the robotics and automation industry is to be launched in 2004. Known as AUTOMATICA, International Trade Fair for Robotics +Automation, it is to be held for the first time on 15-18 June 2004 in Munich,Germany. The sponsor of the event is VDMA Robotik + Automation, a robotics and automation group within the German Machinery and Plant Manufacturers'Association (VDMA). AUTOMATICA is intended as a market forum for manufacturers of robotic systems, assembly and handling technology, industrial image processing and associated componentry from all over the world. It will be held every 2 years.
