BYG systems selected for Malaysian automation strategy

BYG Systems of Nottingham is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Malaysian Centre for Robotics and Automation (MCRIA) to supply software for robot simulation and offline programming, and factory/warehouse simulation.

Under the agreement, BYG technology will become the key tool in the Malaysian long-term industrial automation strategy, which involves government, schools and industry.

Richard Jenkins, General Manager of BYG Simulation said "As the economy recovers there, the industrial automation strategy is geared to make Malaysia a serious contender in the global manufacturing marketplace. We are delighted to have been selected as a partner in that strategy and will be working closely with Malaysian industry and Government organisations to help successful implementation. The ease-of-use and price-performance of our new PC based software suite were significant factors in the MCRIA evaluation."

BYG Systems has 15 years experience developing simulation and industrial automation software.
