THK launches its smallest LM guides ever

THK has launched two new miniature LM guides – the RSR3M and RSR3N– the smallest LM guides in the THK range (Plate 7). The new LM guide's minimal dimensions of just 8 mm wide and 4 mm deep makes them ideal for compact machines and in particular medical apparatus and instrumentation such as DNA analysers.

While the two new LM guides share the same dimensions in width and depth,RSR3M (normal block) is 12 mm long with the RSR3N (long block) being 16 mm long. The two different block configurations provide increased flexibility, allowing the range to meet a wider variety of applications, including those where accurate and high speed operation is required.

RSR3M and RSR3N are ideal for clean room applications or where space is at a premium. Additional benefits of the range include excellent mounting surface accuracy, light weight and excellent maximum load ratings.
