At a recent A.D. Little colloquium on new management techniques in the cleanup of contaminated sites, nine corporate and government environment, health, and safety (EHS) officials out‐lined new techniques and frustrations that have emerged in efforts to put a proactive, pollution‐prevention regime in the place of the traditional, regulatory‐driven responses to Super‐fund and other site remediation work.
