The following sentence from the abstract contains an error

‘…and the expansion and mass changes associated with the exposure to sodium sulfate (Na₂SO₄) and magnesium (Mg) solutions were measured.’

The corrected sentence is as follows

‘…and the expansion and mass changes associated with the exposure to sodium sulfate (Na₂SO₄) and magnesium sulfate (MgSO₄) solutions were measured.’
