About Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science
Aims and scope
Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science is an international, peer-reviewed publication providing a forum for the dissemination of environmental research, encouraging interdisciplinary research collaboration to address environmental problems. It addresses all aspects of environmental quality except for those related to noise, radiation and light.
Considering that the environmental issues are addressed by multiple disciplines, when submitting a paper to the Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science the author(s) should verify that the proposed papers are strongly characterised by elements pertaining to engineering or applied sciences.
Papers are invited from authors on the following topics:
- air pollution monitoring/modelling
- climate change mitigation
- contamination and/or restoration of contaminated sites and sediments
- environmental planning and impact assessment
- innovative processes for water and wastewater treatment and re-use
- innovative treatment of gaseous emissions
- Life Cycle Assessment addressed toward environmental issues
- risk assessment
- water (including groundwater) quality monitoring/modelling
- waste (including sludge) disposal and/or valorisation.
Authors will be asked to choose from one of the above topics when they submit their Paper online for peer review.
Editor in Chief's emerging topics are those including references to contaminants of emerging concern, microplastics, or to circular economy and waste-to energy solutions applied to municipal and industrial waste.
