Purpose

This paper aims to examine corporate environment ethics (CEE) for employees’ environmental citizenship behaviors in the emerging market.

Design/methodology/approach

The survey questionnaire collected data from respondents working in the fashion manufacturing industry. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was applied to examine the study hypotheses.

Findings

The results confirmed the crucial role of CEE in executing employees’ environmental citizenship behaviors (ECB) through organizational identification (OI) employee environmental commitment (EEC). The findings significantly contribute to the extent of the theory on CEE and environmental citizenship behaviors.

Originality/value

Managers can consider the research findings to develop strong employees’ ECB by promoting positive CEE.
