About China and World Business Review
Aims and scope
China and World Business Review (CWBR) promotes a deeper understanding of how China interacts with and shapes the world economy. It publishes research that examines China’s role in global business systems and welcomes comparative and international studies that either place China at the centre of analysis or generate insights relevant to China’s engagement with the global economy. Submissions should engage substantively with China through empirical analysis, case or field studies, policy or institutional analysis, or comparative research in which China features prominently.
CWBR connects research and practice by publishing studies that advance theory and generate actionable insights for business leaders and policymakers, and it values collaboration between scholars and practitioners. CWBR welcomes interdisciplinary research drawing on economics, management, law, international relations, public policy, and other social sciences relevant to global business and development and it accepts diverse methodologies, including empirical, theoretical, and design-oriented approaches. The journal particularly values contributions that address real-world challenges and emerging trends.
