Stability and plastic design of RC sway frames

This Paper addresses stabiliq aspects in plastic analysis and the design of reinforced concrete sway frames. Simple slenderness rules are developed to control-in-plane overall frame buckling and member buckling. A numerical example and various comparisons are used to justify the proposals and to illustrate the simpliciq of the method in practical design.
