Summary:
A method for determining the amount of air entrained in fresh concrete, based on the variation of air volume with pressure, is described and illustrated. It is intended for laboratory use, and from the point of view of convenience in making the test is particularly suitable for this purpose. One form of apparatus can be readily assembled from standard chemical equipment and other common materials. The reproducibility and accuracy of results appear to be good.
