This paper presents the development of a theory for predicting the strength of reinforced concrete indeterminate frames in which the members are subjected to bending as well as twisting moments and transverse shear. The theory has been applied to two types of simple indeterminate frame -the frames being statically indeterminate by one and three degrees. The predictions of the theory are compared with the test results of the authors as well as those reported in the literature. The agreement is reasonably good.
