The paper describes a model and methodology to predict chloride ingress in a marine concrete structure. The model includes both environmental load (surface chloride concentration) and the resistance of the structure (cover and an apparent time-dependent diffusion coefficient). The methodology is applied to assess the remaining service life for five Norwegian North Sea structures.
