Preface

Article Type: Preface From: Kybernetes, Volume 38, Issue 10

This special issue is the final part in the series “Modelling and analysis of uncertain systems” which has received a great deal of attention from readers and the cybernetics community at large.

Parts I and II were published in Kybernetes Vol. 37 Nos 9/10, 2008,pp. 1214-456, and Vol. 38 Nos 3/4, 2009, pp. 294-348, respectively.

An editorial by one of the Guest Editors, Yi Lin, which provides a background to the series of published contributions on the wide-ranging aspects of these studies, was included in Part I.
