R-5xxxP_D/R-6xxxP_D series
A new product has been added to RECOM's product portfolio, the INNOLINE. This consists of high efficiency, non-isolated step-down regulators for point-of-load applications like the newly designed R-5xxxP_D series where 1.2-5 V input types offer five different outputs of 1.0- 5.0 V at 2, 3, or 4 A.
The R-6xxxP_D series is designed to offer wide input ranges like 9-28 V for 3.3, 5, 9 and 12 V outputs at 1 or 2 A. Both series can have their output voltage trimmed via external resistors and only two external capacitors are needed.
Efficiency of these two series is significantly above 90 per cent, some even up to 97 per cent. These new products offer the ideal solution for distributed power with minimal PCB space requirements. Combining them with RECOM's POWERLINE converters is an option, if higher wattage conversion with an isolation barrier is required.
