Farm-A-Round is now offering a range of prepared fruit and vegetables to be delivered to your door. This is to meet the demand for produce which is peeled and sliced ready for cooking. The contents of the box of organic produce will depend on availability. A typical winter box could contain peeled and quartered potatoes, batonned carrots or parsnips, sliced onions, broccoli, shredded Savoy cabbage, quartered cauliflower, a mixed salad pack, orange and grapefruit segments and mixed fruit salad washed, prepared and ready for use. The boxes are offered in three different sizes. The single box has been designed for one or two people and costs £15.90, the double box for two or three people for £21.90 and the large box ideal for a dinner party for more than three people costs£27.90. Deliveries will be made in a recyclable, chilled box which will stay chilled throughout the day. Most of the products have a four-to-seven day shelf-life.
