Bone detector

Until now it has been considered impossible to scan for bones in thigh meat of poultry because it has been impossible to distinguish between bones and the large number of overlapping muscles in the meat. Fish represents a major challenge because of the small size of the bones and the flaked structure of the flesh. Now Spectral Fusion Technologies (SFT) is set to launch new bone detection systems, which represent major breakthroughs for both the fish and the poultry industries. SFT's new Spectraline sensors incorporate several major innovations in scanning technology. BoneScan machines solve the earlier problems using a combination of a new scanning technology and advanced neural network software. This is designed to mimic closely the human brain in its ability to differentiate between actual contaminants and false rejects.
