Schools urged to fight obesity
Report laments children’s lack of physical activity. Schools are seen as being in the front line in the battle against what has been called “the biggest public health threat of the twenty-first century” – obesity. A report from the cross-party Commons health select committee calls for nutrition policies in all England’s schools.
It says there should be lessons in cooking healthily – and much more physical activity.
