Dofasco's microcomputer decision support system

Dofasco, Inc., is Canada's second largest fully integrated steel producer. It has an asset base of about $1.5 billion, which generates sales revenues of a similar magnitude. Dofasco produces the flat‐rolled (sheet) steels used in the automotive, construction, and appliance industries. All production operations are located in a single plant in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
