Leasehold enfranchisement

Briefly, those readers who are involved in this area of practice may wish to read two recent reports of cases which came before the Lands Tribunal: Carlv. Grosvenor Estate [2000] 38 EG 195, which considers the compensation payable for the freehold of a house in Chester Square, London,under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, and Visible Information Packaged Systems Ltd v. Squarepoint (London) Ltd [2000] 30 EG 121 where the Tribunal was dealing with the valuation of an intermediate leasehold interest under the Act of 1993.
