Discusses the background to the Act, Part I: Integrated Pollution Control, Part II: Waste disposal on land, Part III: Statutory nuisance,and further provisions of Parts IV to IX. Concludes that the provisions relating to Integrated Pollution Control in particular are likely to have future significance.
