Most coatings manufacturers have had their attention drawn to the increasing tendancy for fungi, mildew and mould to grow more vigorously than a decade or so ago on all types of surface coatings. It's not just a case of unsightly black mould spots on exterior emulsion paints and on damp interior areas: fungi is now even appearing on some car finishes.
