The ACT Conference is now an established event within the coatings sector focusing on the latest topics and developments concerning paint technology. The Conference is designed to intensity the dialogue among Central, East - and West- European paint specialists that was begun during ACT' 95 and was continued till ACT 2000, where about 170 delegates from 16 countries participated in the conference. The Conference will be held in the Conference Hall at the International Katowice Fair in Katowice, Poland from the 5th to the 8th of November 2002

Besides presenting the latest technical innovations and trends, the Conference promotes business contacts among participants from all over the world. The coating, industry in Central and Eastern

Europe offer a significant opportunity for the suppliers of raw materials,new technologies, machines and equipment. Poland is well situated as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe and its position aids co-operation and the successful development of the paint industry.

The Organising Committee of ACT '02 invites speakers, mainly specialists,from significant laboratories and companies who will focus will focus on their latest achievements in coating work.

The Conference is designed to bring together speakers from material producers, paint makers, machinery manufacturers, and academia.

Papers for presentation at ACT' 02 in the following areas are invited for submission; Raw Materials, manufacturing methods and productivity, application methods, testing sand control, relevant research projects and environmental aspects of coatings technology and application.

Deadline for submission is 30 April 2002.

The Conference will be held in conjunction with the Central European Coatings Show - CECS'02.
