The retirement of Mr C. R. Preston as president of The International Paint Co. Ltd. ends a long career with the company which he joined as International Paints at Felling‐on‐Tyne in 1927. He became works accountant there ten years later and in 1943 moved to London as assistant secretary, becoming secretary three years afterwards. He joined the Board in 1956 and travelled abroad extensively on business.
