A clear universal water‐repellent, designed for the treatment of a variety of exterior building surfaces, is now available from Bio‐Kil Chemicals Ltd., Brickyard Industrial Estate, New Road, Gillingham, Dorset SP8 4BR (Tel: 0747 823121). This is Silexine Aquachek which, by preventing water absorption, also improves insulation and reduces the effects of spalling due to frost. Treatment remains effective for up to 10 years.
