The notoriously difficult task of evaluating the colour of metallic, pearlescent and other effect surface coatings has been much simplified by Macbeth's new Skylight multi‐angle viewing booth. It permits the flop angle to be visually determined and the colour difference between two adjacent samples quantified. Readily transportable, it is suitable for both production line and laboratory, especially in the automotive, paint and coatings, plastics, glass and cosmetics industries.
