Securing inward investment and creating jobs in the chemicals industry in and around Grangemouth is the principal remit of a newly appointed chemicals business development director.
Jonathan Drew will promote Grangemouth as a world class location for the chemicals industry, highlighting the distinct competitive advantages that the location offers, as the first stage of a major new initiative to attract international chemical, companies and related businesses to locate in the area.
The appointment has been made by the Grangemouth Development Group, a consortium of private and public sector organisations, including five of the world's major chemical companies already located at Grangemouth. Their objective is to develop the area as an attractive and competitive location for chemicals and chemical related business,with a reputation for environmental excellence.
