Moss Plastic Parts is launching six new additions to its range of silicone, high temperature PVC and thermoplastic rubber (TPR) caps, plugs and masking accessories. These new masking products are designed specifically for use in a wide variety of finishing processes such as painting, plating, shot blasting, powder coating,stove enamelling, plating and anodizing.

The new product ranges include: dip moulded caps in rectangular, square and round versions for use with tubular products; multi-flex caps for easy fitting and removal in plain and threaded applications; flexiplugs with a flexible design to fit into slightly smaller dimensions; vented caps for masking refrigeration tubes during secondary operations; high temperature silicone easy-caps incorporating a flanged cap end with an internally bevelled open end which provides easy removal and a positive seat; high temperature silicone cone cap/plugs which can perform a dual role as a cap for masking exposed studs or as a plug for masking holes.

Moss's range of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) products are reported to be suitable for use in temperatures up to 190°C. High temperature PVC products can be used at temperatures up to 230°C, while the silicone products combine maximum resistance to aggressive solutions and temperatures up to 300°C.
