A major mousemat manufacturer has called on the specialist skills of Tring-based Stokvis to provide the answer to a sticky question. Having experienced problems with the adhesive that glues the product's foam backing to a screen printed PVC upper,Stokvis was approached to provide an intelligent and practical solution.

Working with the customer to develop a product to suit the application, the Stokvis solution offers product enhancement features, plus productivity improvements during production. Crucially, D0599 provides a thin adhesive coating of a consistent thickness so as not to alter the ergonomic features of the mat's PVC surface, and it adheres firmly to the epdm rubber and foam base when applied. Production speed has been improved through D0599's easy-peel release liner.
