Paint and surface coatings specialist, Trimite Ltd, has appointed Philip Lai (Plate 9) as product group manager of its expanding Plastic Coatings Division.

A graduate in chemistry,Philip has extensive experience in the field of plastic coatings and joins Trimite from Weilburger UK, where he held the post of technical sales manager specialising in coatings for plastics, with particular responsibility for the development of products aimed at the teletronics and automotive industries.

In his new position,Philip is responsible for business and technical development in the plastic coatings sector, including sales and marketing, working closely with Trimite's national sales team.
