Kristen Cibelli Hibben is a Survey Methodologist at the International Survey Operations Division of the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. She received her PhD in Survey Methodology at the University of Michigan. She has contributed extensively to the cross-cultural survey guidelines (http://ccsg.isr.umich.edu) and has authored and co-authored book chapters in Hard-to-Survey Populations (Tourangeau et al., 2014), the Sage Handbook of Survey Methodology (Wolf et al., 2016) and Total Survey Error in Practice (Biemer et al., 2017).

Beth-Ellen Pennell is the Director of the International Survey Operations Division of the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. Pennell also serves as the Director of the Data Collection Coordinating Centre for the World Mental Health Survey Initiative, a project of the World Health Organization, Harvard University and the University of Michigan. Pennell led the development of the cross-cultural survey guidelines (http://ccsg.isr.umich.edu) and was one of the editors of Survey Methods in Multinational, Multiregional and Multicultural Contexts (2010), which won the 2013 American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) annual book award.

Lesli Scott is the Associate Director of the Education and Well-Being Program at the Institute for Social Research. She has directed research and methodology projects at academically based centers since 1983. She has recently served as the senior study director for complex multi-site data collection and technical development efforts, including the Study of Instructional Improvement, the Understanding Teaching Quality study and the Measures of Effective Teaching-Extension project. As part of this work, she has provided consultation to project teams in Uganda (Primary Literacy Program Evaluation), South Africa (Teach for South Africa) and Norway (Metadata base for research videos).
