Chynar Amanova is a postdoctoral fellow at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5564-4909). She obtained her EdD in adult and higher education. Her research interests include adult learning and teaching in higher education, innovative methods of teaching and research, and international students’ experiences at U.S. higher education institutions.
Tom Brady, PhD, is the interim chair of teacher education at the University of Mississippi and the coordinator of both secondary education and the TeachLive virtual classroom. Dr. Brady was a high school math teacher and baseball coach for about ten years before moving into higher education for the last 15, where he has held many roles including coordinator, director, chair, and director of educational innovation. His area of research focuses on educational technology.
Clement Chen, PhD, CPA, is a professor of accounting at the University of MichiganFlint. He received his PhD from the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on budgeting, management control systems, forensic accounting, distance education, and issues in accounting education.
Juenethia Tooson Fisher, PhD, is the housing compliance manager at the city of Toledo. In 2017, Juenethia was the city of Toledo’s 21st Century Employee. She has been employed with the city for 23 years and is a certified housing development professional. Throughout her career she has been a peertrainer, instructional coach, developer on numerous projects including, teaching and training adult learners in the workforce. Juen- ethia continues to develop curriculum, surveys, and online instruction. She is a scholar in blended, hybrid, and online learning and continues to publish articles and present worldwide. She is a lifelong learner and is currently in the MSW program at the University of Toledo.
Sheri Conklin, EdD, is an assistant professor in instructional technology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Dr. Conklin earned her EdD in educational technology from Boise State University. Prior to moving into this role, she worked as the director of eLearning over a team of instructional designers and multimedia developers. She also worked as an instructional designer in higher education for 9 years. Prior to joining higher education, she was a special education teacher in K-12 schools. Her research interests include online course design and instructor social presence. She is also interested in e-service learning and community outreach.
Keith T. Jones, PhD, CPA, is a professor at the University of North Alabama. He received his doctorate from the University of Kentucky in 2001. His research interests include distance education and accounting faculty recruiting, among others. Prior to becoming an academic, he spent approximately 13 years in practice, mainly as an auditor with the Department of Defense.
Mark L Lawrence, DBA, CPA, CMA, CFM, CGMA, is a professor of accounting at the University of North Alabama. He received his DBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2001. His research interests include distance education, business combinations, and intellectual property. Prior to coming to University of North Alabama, he spent approximately 20 years in practice working for El Paso Corporation, Sonat Inc., and Vulcan Materials Company.
Douglas Moodie is a professor of management at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, as well as the assistant director of the Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality in the Coles College of Business. He received a BS in mechanical engineering in 1973 from Bristol University, United Kingdom and worked as a process and petroleum engineer with BP in the United Kingdom and Middle East. He received an MBA and MS from Cornell University, NY, and a PhD from Syracuse University, NY. He has done research into scheduling, logistics, and business teaching. He has also taught in China.
Jill M. Simpson, PhD, is an assistant professor of computer information systems and serves as the instructional designer/technologist for the College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama. She received her PhD from the University of Alabama in 2012. Her research interests include the quality of online education, the integrity of online programs, and the preparation of faculty and students for an online environment.
Mary “Ella“ Taylor (Moore) is an MEd student at The University of Mississippi studying elementary curriculum and instruction. Ella received her BA in education from The University of Mississippi in 2021 and is a member of the fifth cohort of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program. Throughout her time at the University of Mississippi, she has worked closely with community outreach programs that provide education to underserved students in Mississippi public schools. She is originally from Flower Mound, TX.
Berhane Teclehaimanot, PhD, is a professor of educational technology and program coordinator at The University of Toledo in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Berhane served for 14 years as a director of the Carver Teacher Education Center and taught over 30 years’ courses in educational technology, to strengthen the quality of graduate education through research and quality instruction at the graduate level. He has authored and coauthored over 67 research articles and has made over 92 presentations at the national, international and regional conferences on his research interests primarily on the integration of technology into the curriculum to enhance the teaching and learning process. In addition, he has provided over 62 faculty development/ training workshops in various topics in the area of educational technology. Dr. Tecle- haimanot’s research for the last 12 years also served as the basis for the federal and state grants totaling over $7 million. Dr. Tecle- haimanot received the Outstanding Faculty Award for Teaching and also Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Toledo, College of Education Alumni Affiliate and an outstanding Citizen Award from Council of the City of Toledo.
