Zachary Arens is an associate professor of marketing in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. He holds a PhD in marketing and a masters in survey methodology from the University of Maryland. His research examines decision making, consumer behavior and education.

Sherri L. Brogdon earned her PhD in educational technology from the University of North Texas in 2008 and is currently teaching as an associate professor in the Education Department at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Her research interests are predominantly in the fields of STEAM education and online learning. Currently, she is collaborating with university faculty and students to create online learning courses with increased engagement and interactivity.

Emily Faulconer is an associate professor in the Department of Math, Science and Technology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She has been involved with multiple undergraduate STEM course developments and redevelopments. She serves on the Academic Safety Committee, leveraging her expertise as a certified chemical hygiene officer. Dr. Faulconer holds a BS in forensic science from Virginia Commonwealth University. After briefly working as a forensic chemist, she pursued her passion in education, first teaching high school and then pursuing an environmental engineering sciences PhD from the University of Florida. She has been with ERAU since 2012 and with the Worldwide Campus since 2016.

Shawna Jensen is an instructional support leader at Stile Education and a researcher whose scholarly work focuses on integrating technology in K-12 environments including exploring game-based learning, gamification, and teacher professional learning. Through her research, she seeks to advance understanding of how technology can enhance K-12 education and support teachers with applying evidence-based practices. She earned her EdD in Educational Technology from Boise State University.

Cheryl Kam graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, holding a bachelor of science in aeronautics. With minors in aviation safety as well as security and intelligence, Cheryl has acquired a diverse skill set. Her research interests revolve around safety, specifically human factors and physiology. She is preparing for graduate school at this time.

Javier Leung is an instructional designer responsible for measuring the impact of online learning environments and 500+ self-placed materials for around 38,000 educators across Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Leung is a seasoned instructional designer, e-learning developer, and front-end developer in higher education and talent development. His research aims to impact how technology and learning engineering can be applied to sustain better learning experiences and interfaces in educational systems that involve program evaluation and analyzing big data to understand user behavior using machine learning for prediction, classification, and pattern recognition. Dr. Leung also leverages educational data mining and learning analytics approaches for investigating knowledge structures and shared professional practices from unstructured data in instructional design communities of practice through natural language processing and user experience design.

Kerry Rice is a professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. She teaches online graduate courses on online and blended teaching in K-12, tech-supported project-based learning, and instructional technology coaching. Her scholarly activity includes best practices in K-12 online and blended education and includes policy analysis, Delphi and mixed methods studies, and large-scale program evaluations using both traditional and emerging methods in data mining and deep learning analytics.

Mapopa William Sanga obtained his PhD in instructional design and technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 2011. Since 2013, he has been working as associate professor and teaching and learning coordinator at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. His research interests are predominantly in distance education and e-learning. Dr. Sanga likes to explore the best ways to improve learning in e-learning contexts.

Chareen Snelson is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. She teaches online graduate courses on quest-based learning design, leadership in educational technology, and advanced qualitative research methods. Her scholarly activity includes gamification, quest-based learning, scoping reviews, and qualitative research methods.

Jesús Trespalacios is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. He teaches online graduate courses on instructional design and educational research. His scholarly activity includes instructional design education, communities in online environments, and doctoral advising for research purposes.
