This special issue is finally in print. And I greatly appreciate the advice of Marina Rosser and the efforts put into the three articles in this special issue by Richard (Ric) Holt, Roger Koppl, and Vela Velupillai. David Colander was planning to contribute a paper but, sadly, he passed before being able to do so. I’m not going to elaborate on the life and times of Barkley. Ric does an especially excellent job of this in the introduction to his article.
