The Concurrent Engineering Research Center (CERC) is an inter-disciplinary research facility at West Virginia University (USA). It was founded in 1988 as the cornerstone of the US Department of Defense's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)Initiative in Concurrent Engineering (DICE). DICE is a university/industry consortium formed to develop innovative computer technologies and information management methods to support concurrent engineering teams.

This site is well presented and clearly laid out. The site contains information on Concurrent Engineering, CERC's Enabling Technologies for Collaboration, CERC's resources,and Ways to Collaborate with CERC.

Founded in 1995, the Concurrent Engineering Research Group (CERG) is part of the Manufacturing System Center. The mission of CERG is to make Mexican industry and academics aware of the importance of the Concurrent Engineering (CE) philosophy and its related technologies. This aims to improve the performance of product development in Mexico. The site contains information about research orientation, the Mexican Society of Concurrent Engineering, people and their projects, classes, papers,training courses, concurrent engineering books, facilities available, pictures,the Concurrent Engineering Awareness Program, the Manufacturing System Center,and the Concurrent Engineering Information Center (CEIC). There is plenty of information available on this site, but it has no uniform look.

Information can be found on the Product Data Exchange, Product Modelling,Engineering Analysis, Automated Manufacturing Information Systems, Computer Visualisation, Advanced N/C Material Removal, Certification Part Programming,Shopfloor Control, Distributed Numerical Control, and a Machine Tool Simulator.
