Automatic machines are either CNC or robot controlled and available with single head for small batch production or multi-head for mass produced parts.

All models are simple to operate, economical to run and produce consistent quality finishes during single and multi-shift operations.

With modern CNC and robotic technology even the most complicated parts present no problems: sanitary fittings, door handles, surgical implants,automotive components, castings and fabrictions, sinks, cutlery and flatware.

Mapos' automatic grinding, deburring and polishing machines use the very latest consumables. Abrasive belts are 4,000mm long, polishing buffs are 960mm diameter. With these jumbo sizes and the unique constant contact pressure controls consumable costs can be reduced by up to 50 per cent compared with traditional finishing methods.

Typical cycle times are 50 seconds for finishing a brass tap and 200 seconds for finishing a knee joint.

There are several hundred Mapos grinding, deburring and polishing machines installed worldwide.
