Modular Automation International Ltd. joins C.H. Bailey Group

Assembly equipment manufacturer Modular Automation International Ltd. has joined engineering group C.H. Bailey Plc. The Birmingham based company became part of the CHB Group on 4 January 2005.

Modular Automation International designs and manufactures automated assembly lines for many of the world's most successful manufacturers. The company specialises in the manufacture of equipment for a range of volume production across a wide range of industries, including the medical, automotive, electrical and brewing sectors. Customers include market-leading companies, such as Diageo,Unipath, Sasol and Hozelock. New projects for the UK, US, Far East and African markets are currently under way, including an agreement with German manufacturer Rose & Krieger to distribute a new flexible conveyor system, “Easy-link”in the United Kingdom.

Modular's Managing Director Trevor Dixon says that the whole team at Modular is delighted to be a part of the CHB Group and is keen to push the company forward to future success. “Being a member of a major engineering group will provide us with the resources and financial stability we need,” he said. “It's a great opportunity for us.”
