Initial Planning or Revision of Electronics Manufacturing Areas: Automation and just‐in‐time (JIT) manufacturing are the crucial suppositions of economical electronics manufacturing in the future. Surface mount technology (SMT), automated through‐hole component insertion machines and in‐line assembly systems are the basic solutions to implement highly automated electronics manufacturing systems (see photograph).
