When leading connector and terminal manufacturer Grote & Hartmann was awarded the contract to manufacture a new switch module for Black & Decker's Dustbuster® hand‐held vacuum cleaner, it represented a new departure for the company, involving not only the manufacture of the metal contact but also complete assembly of the module.
